Hi, I'm Keegan

I'm Keegan England, a Digital Designer with a passion for photography, 3D Animation, and Modelling. I matriculated in 2021 from St Benedict's College. I graduated from Vega School Durban in 2024 with a Bachelor's of Art in Digital Design.

My skills include proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. I specialize in 3D modeling and animation, with experience with Blender.

I've always had a fondness for animation growing up, as it was the most prominent type of kids' television series. Additionally, I've had an interest in and knack for design since childhood, often found drawing whenever I had the chance—at home, at school, or even on holiday. My journey into the world of design began during high school when I attended Comic Con Africa and stumbled upon the Vega School stall. This encounter sparked my interest in pursuing a career in design.

Upon learning that I would be studying animation at Vega School, I took an active interest and initiative in learning as much as I could. I embarked on various projects to test my skills and learn along the way. Some of my personal favorite projects include the Formula 1 car and racing helmet designs, reflecting my passion for motorsport.

I believe that design and animation hold a powerful influence in our society, as they have the potential to shape the minds of both the youth and adults alike. I am a firm believer in freedom of speech and creativity, recognizing them as fundamental rights that drive innovation and expression in our society. Moreover, I strongly advocate for the creation of original work that breaks away from the cycle of rehashing old ideas. I believe that by pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation, we can contribute to a richer and more diverse cultural landscape.
